What a fabulous way to celebrate SAMOAN LANGUAGE WEEK

On Friday Room 6 organised a Samaon Celebration. Each classed performed an item. Our power was amazing as we performed our sasa.
It was so lovely to have our parents and grandparents there to cheer us on. The seniors shouted the grandparents a cuppa. Mrs Parker organised some fab food from PACIFIC CUISINE for all of the students at lunchtime. Mr McIness helped organise us into lines and then our Principal and Emily Moase served us our lunch it was truly yummy. THE RED CROSS  helped us fund this SUPER SAMOAN DAY!

Being inspired to write

We love building simple machines. Using lego we get to be our creative best. This then gives us an edge when we come to write.
CHRISTIAN LEALA  wrote a short, snappy piece about his fair ground machine.
I used lego to create a fair ground machine.  I came up with this idea while I was already in the process of making the machine.
It was a little difficult to find pieces to work how I wanted them to.
I am happy that I produced my remarkable lego machine.

Christian I am happy to see your deliberate choice of language that makes your writing exciting to read.  MrsP:-)
